The First Nations University of Canada uses numerous computer systems and technology based tools to fulfill its mission academically and administratively. The First Nations University of Canada’s Information Technology Department maintains all university systems and tools and investigates new technology to assist the faculty and students in their day-to-day duties. Each campus of the First Nations University of Canada offers a fully equiped Computer Lab used for Computer Science and other academic programs. When not in use by classes, the computer systems in these labs are accessible free of charge to all students. Student-accessible computer systems are also available in the Library at each campus location. Students obtain access to First Nations University of Canada computer systems through the Registrar's Office, or through their Student Counsellor. The Information Technology department supports numerous business and academic software packages, and develops custom software applications for administrative, faculty, and public use.
