Convocation

The First Nations University of Canada Convocation Grand Entry/Academic Procession is a beautiful ceremony, renowned for its integration of traditional and modern native content. You will feel the heartbeat of the drum and see pride on the faces of the academic participants as they are led by the Eagle Staff carrier. The Eagle Staff carrier is an integral part of the convocation ceremony.

To be part of the convocation ceremony, you must apply for graduation. You can pick up an Application for Graduation form at your faculty or college office or at the Office of the Registrar. You may apply when you register for your final semester.

Your application will be reviewed by your faculty to ensure you have completed all classes and met all the grade point average requirements. Your faculty will inform you if you are missing any requirements.
